My name is Allison. I’m a 48 year old mom of two children. Although I had always wanted to join some type of martial arts, I had never gotten up the nerve to try a class.
When I finally started Taekwondo two years ago at the U. S. Taekwondo Center, I was really out of shape. At my first class, I could barely do 10 jumping jacks during warm up, but that’s not what’s important to Master Lee and his great team of instructors. They encourage students to come to class prepared to achieve their personal best. They applaud respect amongst students and compliment students who are encouraging one another. When I first started practicing Taekwondo, I was in a very stressful job. Coming to class after work was a good way to get rid of my stress. The U.S. Taekwondo Center is a great place to get more fit, while gaining confidence in yourself!
