Grilled Banana Splits


A yummy summer dessert that’s fun for the whole family to make!

4 ripe bananas that are still pretty firm
cinnamon sugar
ice cream
chocolate syrup or caramel syrup
whipped cream

Cut bananas in half, lengthwise and across (each banana should be in 4 pieces). Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on cut sides of bananas. Preheat grill and once hot, lay bananas cut side down and cook over low heat. Cook for about 2 minutes or until grill marks appear. Flip and cook until skin starts to peel from banana.

Remove from heat and carefully remove peels and place 1 entire banana in each serving bowl. Top with ice cream and chocolate syrup or caramel. Add whipped cream and cherries, if desired.
